(From Our Own Correspondent)'. Messrs P. O'Dea and E. Dixon, two members of the Wanganui Education Board, went to New Plymouth on Wednesday for the.purpose of meeting members of the Taranaki Education Board with reference to the new educational boundaries. Master Henri Lassack, the gifted young violist, is ,in town arranging a concert for Sunday cVeiling. Mr. A. M. C'onroy, with his usual generosiiv, has kindly offered the use of the Opera House free, and all that is now required is a permit from the Borough Council, which will no doubt be .forthcoming. On Tuesday evening the committee of the Dominion Winter Show held their usual monthly meeting, and a good deal of business in connection with the showwas arranged. It Was decided to hold the usual art union. A special committee was set up to deal with the home industry section, it being the general opinion that this portion of the show requires particular attention.
