GERMANS BOGGED
IN THE PINSK DISTRICT. Received Jan. 20, 5.5 p.m. (Petrograd, Jan. 1!). A thaw has rendered the German trenches in the Piiisk district untenable, flooding them. The posts fo which the barbed wire was suspended were under water, and were no longer able to stick in the soaking soil, and the Russians carred off tile barbed wire. Two sectors of Germans are feverishly trying to drain the land.
