Briamf and other 'French Ministers, naval and military officers, attended. A FIGHT TO A FINISH. LORD DERBY TO A PRESSMAN. Received Jan. 20, 9.50 p.m. London, Jan. 20. The New York Herald's London correspondent interviewed Lord Derby, who said: "Wc will hang on and fight until tho Germans are thoroughly thrashed. The Empire will find men to do it. The call for volunteers is more than gratifying. You see how they are pouring in from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and all the Empire's outposts. Many thousands arc paying their way, for the proud privilege of fighting i'or their Motherland." ' ' »
