The New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer, Paparoa, passed New Plymouth yesterday afternoon, bound from Oamaru ito Waitara. The Paparoa anchored in the Waitara roadstead in the evening, and will commence loading produce to-day. OPERATIONS OF HOME BUYERS. A cable from Sydney says that home buyers are picking up tonnage at long prices. The latest purchase is the E.A. Company's steamer Aldenhum. THE CORINTHIC. FOR LONDON.

The Corinthic's sailing date has been again further postponed to Wednesday, •28th inst., at noon. Intending passengers are requested to note the alteration. ARRIVAL OF Til 15 WAIPOKI. The Waipori, 1919 tons (Captain Martin), a Union S.S. Co.'s collier, arrived at Moturoa at 3.45 p.m. yesterday. She will discharge about GOO tons of coal, and will then proceed to Lyttelton to discharge the balance. She had a smooth passage across.

THE C. S. HOLMES. The C. S. Holmes will not finish discharging her load of timber till about the middle of next week. THE KOWIIAI. The Kowhai is expected from Lyttelton to-day with general cargo.
