TARANAKI'S NEXT QUOTA. THIRTY-FOUR MEN SHORT. DETAILS OF MEN REGISTERED. Taranaki is thirty-four men short for its quota for the Thirteenth Reinforcements which go into camp early next mouth. The deficiency is in infantry, where, of 37 men required, Oil have been obtained. 11l other brandies there has been a surplus over requirements, with Hie exception of the artillery section which has been exactly tilled.
Orderlies for camp are required'as follows: Trenthain two, Tauherenikau two,' Rangiotu one, Awapuni one, Narrow Neck (Auckland) one. These positions are open to young soldiers who have returned from the front and have been discharged through minor defects as not fit for active service. They will.receive the pay of privates acting-as orderlies. These men are 'wanted urgently and those who can take ithe positions aje required to telegraph to headquarters, Ha wera, not* later than 10 a;m. tomorrow.
