One division took a day to cross, and the halfperishing masses of wounded remained on the Russian bank_ Two thousand unwounded prisoners were taken. A sudden thaw lias turned the roads into quagmires, and the enemy's wagons and heavy guns have stuck fast. They will probably fall into our hands as our methodical advance continues. .; ENEMY DIVISION'S LOSSES, : * :: Received Jan. 18, 3.40 p.m. Petrograd, Jan. 17.
