SITUATION BECOMING GRAVER. By Cable.—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, January 15. Tho Broken Hill mines are strongly picketed. Arrangements are being completed for the issue of food tickets to strikers. A meeting of the Amalgamated Miners' Association declared Port Pirie ''black;' and any members of the Association there who continue to work will be expelled. They have also instructed unions throughout Australia to decline to handle Port 'Pirie products.
