RIFLE SHOOTING.
NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. A competition for the cup was held last Thursday and Saturday by the New 'Plymouth Defence Rifle Club, distances 800 and fIOO yards, seven shots at each range. The following were the scorw:—
A championship competition will be fired next Thursday and Saturday. There will be no match with Inglewood. A few members of the Inglewood Club are coming in for some long-range practice. ! Intending competitors are remindsd that entries for the TtirannJki Rifle Association meeting close with the secretary at the Drill Hall on Thursday night at S o'clock.
