TRENCH AIRMEN KILLED. BY NEW GERMAN AEROPLANE, Paris, Jan. 18, While flying over tlio German lines irt a biplane Captain Sallier mil Lieutenant Le Oa.ll were surprised by a Focker machine, an explosive bullet from which struck their petrol lank, enveloping the machine in flames. The occupants tow up their journals and dropped pieces tor the French telling their fate. Next .day Gcrmun airmen flew over the French trenches and dropped a letter fiaying a tribute to the bravery of Sal* lier and Lc ('tall, and stating that they had been burjed with military honors.
