Present indications arc for a falling barometer everywhere soon; moderate to strong northerly and westerly winds prevailing, and increasing strong !lo gale in and southward of Cook Strait. Rain ia probable in the West Coast and southernmost districts of the South Island shortly, and warm and hazy weather is likely elsewhere, but with increasing cloudiness and unsettled conditions following generally.
