(From Our Own Correspondent.)' Stratford, Yesterday. The Borough Council are holding a special meeting on Monday next to consider the Health Inspector's report, electric light proposals, etc. A son of Mr. Baskin, of Midliiret, had the misfortune to have his left arm broken through being thrown from a horse. People who think that tomatoes cancot be grown profitably in Stratford should pay a visit to Mr. T. Reader's residence, Opunake Road. They will find vines seven feet high, and loaded with fruit. Mr. Reader has a glasshouse about 50 feet long, and has about 500 plants in full bearing.
