ANNUAL MEETING. Telegraph.—Press Association. ■Masterton, Last Miglit. The annual meeting of the New Ztealand Athletic and Cycling Union was held here to-day. It was decided that Jio championship meeting he held till the termination of the war, and that the publication of the calehdar be suspended for a similar period. It was resolved that the Axemen's Association and Pipers and Dancers' Association be permitted to affiliate. Regret was expressed that no settlement had been arrived at with the Northern Athletic Union. It was resolved that the executive hold office till the end of the war. The next conference was fixed to take place at Christehurch. It was decided to place on record the Union's keen appreciation of the part played by New Zealand athletes in the present war.
