Mr.- G Wynne, editor of the Morning Post, speaking at the Constitutional Club, deplored that the Government wasconducting the war ineffectively, and proposed as a remedy an appeal to the patriotic members of the House of Commons to form a National l J arty, which •would petition the King to remove flu; twenty-two members of the Cabinet and appoint either three or five members of the Cabinet. The party programme would bo 110 peace unless the Dominions and Allies agreed to its terms, the prohibition of a German becoming a partner in a British firm or domiciled in the Empire for 25 years, a tariff of 5 per cent, against Germany, with an additional 1 per cent, for every month the war continues.
