The occupation of Corfu has caused indignation in Germany, where it is regarded as a personal inCH to the Kaiser, who has protested King Constantine. ATTACK ON SALONIKA, . Venizelos, who is firmly convinced that Greece's interests lie with the Allies, and that Kng Constantine's .policy is fundamentally wrong. He thinks the opportunity is 81)11 within Greece's grasp, but Mr. Price is unable to divulge what M. Venitelos intends to 3o or accomplish. Nevertheless his influence is great, and he is an enormous magnetic and popular, figure. A reconciliation between King Constantine and M. Venizelos would be the happiest consummation, il i*v is possible. Athens confirms the belief that a nonverging attack on Salonika from three sides is imminent. Large arrivals of munitions and heavy artillery on the frontier are reported. Seven thousand eomitadjis have joined the Bulgarians. Prince Cyril congratulated the eomitadjis on their fighting against Serbia, distributing large sums and promising them employment in reconniasance. The Petit Journal states that si desperate assault is impending, and i'r.iee large en«my armies have been concentrated, The "■ Bulgarian strength is 89,000. They mobilised 60,000 and lire mobilising 130,000. Casualties and garrisons reduce the available field force to 360,000.
