FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Present indications arc for westerly and .southwesterly winds, moderate to strong generally, but squally at times in and southward of Cook Strait. Fair weather is probable in Northern and Fast Coast districts, and changeable conditions elsewhere, with scattered showers. The barometer is unsteady in the south, hut is due to rise further everywhere soon.
