ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
SHOT BY HIS WIFE. «By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rotorua, Jan. 12. Yesterday afternon, Arthur Swayne, a carpenter, who was sitting in his room, was shot by his wife with a revolver and woundeu in his left forearm, but not seriously. The. woman has been mentally affected for some time and this morning was ordered to Avondale Mental Hospital. A MINER KILLED. Reefton, Last Night. A miner named tleorge Scott was killed by a fall of coal at Big River coal mine to-day.
