Xewa was received in Xcw Plymouth late last night, that Mr. Ohas l.eeeh. a well known settle;- oi tin l Awakino div triet, hail been found dead on the road side near Awakino. Very few partiviilard ol the sad event were available up to the time of going to press, but it Is understood that Mr. Leech left his home a few miles out of Awakino, in a horso and trap in the morning, when he was in his usual state of health.
