SIX MONTHS' EXPORT FROM AUCKLAND. INCREASED PRODUCTION. The value of the butter exported from Auckland during the past six months is approximately' £097,010. The export for the corresponding period of the previous season was worth about £8(15,300. A return of the shipments made since the beginning of the season on July 1 to December 31, shows the distribution of the supplies and a comparison with the export of last season. Shipments to London are greater by 01,539 boxes, than last season, this increase being equivalent to nearly 2S per cent. On the other hand, the shipments to Vancouver have practically ceased. The deliveries of butter for iocal consumption from the Auckland Farmers' Freezing Company's stores show a considerable reduction, evidently owing to the increase in the retail price. During the past six months, 12,829 boxes have been absorbed by the local market, as compared with 17,850 bows during the corresponding period of last season, the reduction being 5027 boxes. A portion of the local recjnireinents is, of course, always met by supplies delivered directly from the factories to the retailers.

The export of cheese (luring the six months has amounted to about 23,500 crates, as compared with 8221 crates in the previous season. The next shipment of produce will be made by. the Corinthic next week. She will load about "10,000 boxes of butter ind 0000 crates of cheese.
