Startling revelations have heen made concerning four German professors who visited Australia with the British Association for the Advancement of Science. They represented themselves as neutrals. Two were subsequently interned as German spies and another was arrested en route to England with war maps of Australia in his possession. TRAINING IN NEW SOUTH WALES. AN EMBARGO REMOVED. Sydney, January 5. Instead of concentrating all the troops of New South Wales at Liverpool the authorities have decided to open a number of small camps in country centres. Melbourne, January 5. Mr. Hughes has removed the embargo placed on the Australian Remington Typewriter Company, on the ground that it has no actual connection with the American Arm.
