THE MAHENO.

CASES FOR ISOLATION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At Auckland some eases of enteric and typhoid fever were landed from the hotpital ship Maheno and isolated. According to soldiers who listened to speeches at the Auckland welcome to the returned men, reference was made to the** cases as being affllicted with "Eastern disease," requiring isolation. They are argry that the matter should not'haw been made more specific by the Minister who touched on the subject, as they feel that many people have been led to believe there was a disease on the Mfclieno which really did not exist.
