AUCKLAND STOCK MARKET. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report:— At 'Westlield yards last Thursday store and dairy stock were penned in small numbers, and sold at late rates. Best dairy cows and heifers sold at from £7 10s to £ll, others £5 5s to £7, aged and inferior cows £1 15s to £3 10s | empty cows £6 Is to £7 lis, bulls £6 to £lo. At Westfield fat stock market on Wednesday beef was yarded in less than average numbers. Bidding was erratic. Quotations ■ were the same, oxen selling at 24s per -1001b, cows and heifers £1 log to £2 U: steers sold at from £ll 10s to £l7 17s fid, cows and heifers £6 10s to £l3 10s. Sheep were yarded in less numbers than usual, and showed no improvement. Wethers sold at from £ 12s 3d to £1 7s (id, ewes 19s 3d to £1 3s, hoggets £1 2s; lambs, in small supply, sold at lower rates, from 15s 0d to 10s. Pigs were penned in small numbers, and sold at highly improved prices on last week's rates. Heavy baeoners £3 15s to £4 7s, medium £3 7s to £3 14s, heavy porkers £2 17s to £3 Ss. lighter £2 Ss to £2 15s, light £1 17s to £2 6s, slips £1 2 3 to £1 Gs, weaners lis to 14s. Calves were also penned in small numbers, and also sold at higher rates. Heavy suckers £3 17s to £4, medium £2 12s to £3 Gs, light £1 14s to £2 7s, small and fresh-drop-ped 3s to 17s.
