FRENCH LAND IN GREECE. Athens, December 30. Great Britain has informed Greece that French troops landed at pastel Qrjzo with a view of using the inland, as a baae in eventual operations against Adalia. Greece made a formal protest. VARNA BOMBARDED. Athens, December 30. Semi-official advices state that a Russian squadron bombarded the King's palace at Varna, But the damage was unimportant. Paris, Dec. 30. Le Temps learns that the Bulgarians are advancing in two divisions. The first from Ochrida passed through El Bassan northwards towards Durazzo, and the second from Dibra, following the Mati Valley in the direction of Alessio. London, Deo. 30. The Times' Athens correspondent says the French staff is beginning to feel confident that a German attack on Salonika is not to be expected. General von Mackensen's army is considerably weakened and unable to detach troops against the Allies. The Anglo-French are preparing for an undisturbed winter at Salonika and an offensive in the spring. It is authoritatively stated that there are 150,000 Bulgarians and 100,000 Aus-tro-Germans in Southern Macedonia.
