Sir, —As a member of the Xexv Plymouth Patriotic Committee, 1 wish to bring under your notice the grtat possibilities for the manufacturing of armaments, etc., there is :r cur Taranaki ironsand. Very successful demonstrations have been held under the Heskett process, whereby pig-iron and steel can be produced at about half the cost of the imported articles.
