The old Orient liner Ophir, which brought the present King and Queen (the? the Duke and Duchess of York) to Australia and New Zealand, has been disposed of to the Admiralty. The Ophir, which is a steel twin-screw vessel of 0042 tons, built and engined by R. Napier and Sons, Glasgow, in 1891. The Dutch cargo tramp steamer Rijsbergen was spoken in Cook Strait last Tuesday night by the Ngakuta, and wished to be reported "all well." The is bound from Calcutta via Newcastle to Corall, South America, with a cargo of gunnies, etc.
