Miss Beryl Hirst, who has been on a j visit to Auckland, has returned. Mrs. Dempsey is on a visit to Auckj land. _ Mrs. Guy Shaw (Thames) and family are the guests of Mrs. Courtney. Miss Gladys Fraser (Auckland) is spending her holidays in New Plymouth. Miss Joyce Glynes (Auckland) is the guest of Mrs. H. B. Chaney. * # » Miss Blundell who has been visiting her relatives in Timaru and Christchurch, has returned. ♦ « » Mrs. and Miss Grant, who have been on a visit to Rotorua and Auckland, have returned to 'New Plymouth. * # • Miss L. Harding (Auckland) has arrived in New Plymouth to attend the wedding of her brother, Mr. Noel Harding. Dr. and Mrs. McNaughton Christie (Wellington) arrived last night by the mail train, and are the guests, of Mrs. R. Bayley, the latter's mother. * • • 1 Rev. A. H. Colvile and Mrs. Colvile, who have been on a short visit to Auckland, return this morning. Mrs. Robinson (Mokau), who has been on a short visit to New Plymouth, has returned. * # • Mrs. R Dignan (Auckland), who has been the guest of her sister, Mrs. H. Brookman, New Plymouth, has returned. Miss Ahern (Wellington), who has, been staying in New Plymouth, is noyt visiting the Mountain House. Mr., Mrs. and Misses Cottrell (Christchurch) arrived in New Plymouth last night on their way to stay at the Mountain House. Mrs. Fred. Webster, who has been visiting friends in Palmerston North and Stratford, haa returned to New Plymouth. . Mrs. Lewis Webster (Stratford), who has been on a visit to Auckland, has returned, and is now the guest of her mother, Mrs. J.
