POWDER WORKS BLOWN UP. GERMANS ADMIT FRENCH SUCCESS. Received Dee. 23, 6.5 pjn. Amsterdam, Dee. 22. The Tslegmf states ihai a powder factory and several ammunition depots at Meonster, in Westphalia, were blown up, doing enormous damage to the t«wn. ■ A German communique states that the French captured the ridge of Hartmanas WeQlerkopf, and recaptured a portion of the lost position. The French attack at Metzerall was repulsed. 300 WOMEN KILLED. / < Received Dec. 23, B.S p.m. ■_ Amsterdam, Dec. 22. Three explosions took place at Mueniter between 8 and 11 o'clock at night. 81* hundred women were employed and three hundred of them were killed. The cmm of the explosions it unknown.
