AUCKLAND PRODUCE.
SHIPMENT BY THE MAMARI VALUED AT £112,000. A shipment, comprising approximately 30,000 boxes of butter, 3800 crates of cheese ,and 10,000 carcases of frozen mutton, will be exported from Auckland by the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Com'pany steamer Mamari, which will probably sail for London to-night. This shipment, the seventh from Auckland this season, is valued at approximately 1 £132,875, and of this amount the butter cargo represents £112,000. The butter exported from Auckland since the beginning of the season on July 1, including the Mamari's shipment, now amounts to 272,466 boxes of an approximate value of £972,307. Of this quantity, 235,800 boxes have been shipped to London, and when this total is compared with the figures for the corresponding period last year, there is an increase of 43,000 boxes. So far this season the largest shipment of butter from Auckland has been 'lifted by the Rangatira, which sailed on December 3 witli 07,007 boxes, valued at approximately £212,044. Consignments of cheese, amounting to 8800 crates, to be made by the Manmri, will bring the total quantity for the season to 17,094 crates. The Mamari's shipment, representing 668,0001b, valued at 7Jd per lb, is worth £20,875. A considerable "carryover," especially of cheese, will be taken by the Athenic, sailing early in the New Year. This vessel will probably clear up the produce from Auckland for the first time since "the season opened. Although the. season Is now passed the busiest period, the quantity of butter and cheese coming forward is being well maintained.
