INTER-COLLEGIATE GAMES. WELLINGTON V. WANGANUI. A cricket match between teams from the Wellington and Wangamii Colleges was commenced on the Wellington College ground on Monday, and was concluded on Tuesday afternoon. The Wellington team made 186 runs in the .first innings, Raleigh 48, Childs 24, Gralmm 31, Caulton 22 being the principal scorers. Tho Wanganui team scored 163 in tho first innings (Eider 55, Mowbray 26, Hadfield 20, Smith 17 not out). In the second innings Wellington made 152 (Childs 40, Welsh 15, Caulton 19, and Upton 18). The Wanganui boys closed their second innings when the ,score totalled' 83, the Wellington team winning by 92 runs. AUCKLAND V. CHRISTCHURCH. Christchurch, Dec. 21. The Auckland Grammar School and Boys' High School cricket representatives began a match for the Heathcote Williams Shield to-day. Scores to date: Boys' High School made f>6. Bowling for Auckland Leslie took three wickets for 18 runs, and Garrard five for 18. Auckland have made 2i)5 for six wickets— C. Badeby 29, A. E. Irving 121 not out, V. Wilson 37, R. Garrard 46, Ilixon 34.
