ENCOUNTER WITH ARABS. WHO LOSE HEAVILY. * Received Dec. 16, 8.40 p.m. * , Cdiro, Dec. 15. The Britiali, under Colonel Gordon, jdh DecetabW 13 encountered hostile Arabs twenty-four miles from Mntras. The enemy, were armed with twelve tundred rifles and some machine-guns, ,nd vigorously attacked, but were jlriven back with heavy loss.
