A CASUALTY LIST. Sydney, Dec. 16. List 123 contains the following:— Killed in action; Privates J. CLeary, .J. 11. Ooulson. and E. S. Richards. Wounded: Private D. Fraser (in hospital at Valetta). Private A. J. Potter and Sapper AV. D. Mathieson (in hospital at Alexandria). Ill: Privates B. 0. T. Gibbs and B. F. S. Burrell (both in hospital at Malta). Pieturned to duty: Priate P Turley. APPEAL FOR MORE MEN. Melbourne, Dec. 15. Mr. Hughes, in a personal appeal for 50,000 troops, adds that 6000 men monthly are required for the reinforcements. He says: "Had the number of our forces been doubled, the Australasian armies would long ago hae been camping in Constantinaple, and the war would practically has b««a e«r."
