END OF THE REPUBLIC. By Cable.—Press Association—Copyright London, December 13. The Pekin correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says: "It is confidently believed that not a single vote in the whole of China was east in favor of the Republic,, although two-thirds of the nation are heart and soul against the change. This is another proof of the easiness of obtaining results by means of money, organisation and subterfuges."
