NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the New Plymouth Borough Council held on the 22nd day of November, 1915, a resolution was passed:— "That the street in New Plymouth knowß as Paynter's Lane be widened as shows on the plans now produced." And notice is> hereby also given that the said resolution will be submitted to an oidiaary meeting of the said Council, to be held at the offices of the Council, situate in King Street, in the Town of New Plymouth,, on the 20th day of December, ISIS, at 7.30 p.m., for confirmation as a special order. Tickets st Holiday Excursion fares available for same dates will also. be issued from any officered station on North Island main line and branches (except Wellington) to aaiy station on the South Islaoid maun line and branches (except Lyttelton). The journey must be - commenced on day of issue and may be-broken at any station at which the train stops after travelling-fifty miles. CHRISTMAS EVE, 24th (DECMBER, 1915. QN 24th December passenger train will leave New Plymouth 9.30 p.m., arriving Stratford 11.20 p.m. Return train will leave Stratford 11.30 p.m., arriving New Plymouth 1.0 a;m. Special passenger train will leave Waitara at 9.40 p.m. for Lepperton Junction, returning from Lepperton 10.5 p.m. after connecting with above special from New Plymouth.
