NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS. JJOLIDAY Excursion Tickets available for return until 17th February will be issued from any station to any station on North Island main line and branches from 17th December,, 1915, to 3rd January, 1916. Tickets at Holiday Excursion fares available for same dates will also be issued from any officered station on North Island main line and branches (except Wellington) to any station on the South Island main line and branches (except Lyttelton). The journey must be commenced on day of issue and may be broken at any station at which the train stops after travelling fifty miles. CHRISTMAS EVE, 24th DECMBER, "1915. 0 N 24th December passenger train will leave New Plymouth 0.30 p.m., arriving Stratford 11.20 p.m. Return train will leave Stratford 11.30 p.m., arriving New Plymouth 1.0 a.m. Special passenger train will leave Waitara at 9.40 p.m. for Lepperton Junction, returning from Lepperton 10.5 p.m. after connecting with above special from New Plymouth. The ordinary train service on Toko branch will be suspended and trains will run as follows: Leave Stratford 12.40 p.m. and 9.0 p.m., Te Wera 2.10 and 10.35 p.m., arriving Whangamomona 3.0 p.m. and 11.25 p.m Leave Whangamomona 9.30 a.m. and 4.0 p.m., Te Wera 10.25 a.m. and 4.50 p.m., arriving Stralyrd 12.10 p.m. and (i.30 p.m. CHRISTMAS DAY, 25th DECEMBER, 1915. 0 N 25th December following trains only will run:— The 7.20 a.m. New Plymouth-Wellington mail train, the 7.48 a.m. and 4.25 p.m. New Plymouth. Hawera trains, the S-.20 a.m. Welling-ton-New Plymouth mail train, the 7.25 a.m. and 4.5 p.m. IJawera-New Plymonth trains. The 7.12 a.m., 0.45 a.m., 4.25 p.m., and 7.10 p.m. Waitara-Lepperton trains. The 7.43 a.m., 10.20 a.m., 5.10 p.m. and 7.42 p.m. Lepperton-Waitara trains. TOKO BRANCH:—No trains will run on Toko branch .on Christmas Day. No goods or live stock will be conveyed on 25th and 27th December and Ist January, and goods sheds will be closed on those days.
