EMPIRE PICTURES. "Tl>e Radium Thieves,' the. great Vitagraph drama now being screened at the Empire Theatre, is really one of the most engrossing dramas seen here for some time. The heroine of the drama is a brave nurse and the story of her successful fight with the radium thieves is a thrilling one. Roscoe Arbuckie is seen as a simpering, if over large, seaside belle, in "Miss Fatty's Seaside Lovers.'-' a really amusing Keystone comedy. '•Tunis and Snroundings" is an excellent scenic, "Pathe's English Gazette" is unusually interesting, "Checkmate" (drama) and ''The Clubman "(comedy) make up an excellent programme.

ROYAL PICTURES. At the head of to-night's new programme is Warner's '2oooft star drama. "The Arrow's Tongue," produced by the noted American producers, Miliar Bros., 011 the famous 101 Bison Indian cowboy ranch, the finest photo-play ranch in America. The bright spring sun glittered on the silvery hair of an old man as he slowly plodded along in the wake of his plow. Suddenly hh plow struck an obstacle. He stopped tn remove it. It was a human skull, aside tlie surrounding soil he brought to light other human bones. Imbedded in them was an Indian arrow head. Memories of a half century back were awakened and the hands of time reversed. From out of the past came the hordes of ruthl'.ss redskins and the never ending stream of homeseekers from the East. And in his reverie was re-enacted the legend of "The Arrow's Tongue." The supporting films are "The Double Event" (Pathe comic), "A Life for a Life" (Big "U" drama), 'The Sea Gull" (drama), "Trawlers in the North Sea" (interest), "Arabella's Motor Car" (Phoenix comedy), "Eclair's latest Topical" and "Dr. Bridget John Bunny," a Vitagraph comedy featuring the late John Bunny.
