West K.pd had the best of the game ill three out of the. foul' rinks, but the strong lead by 11. Smart more than compensated for the minor scores made by the other visiting skips. An enjoyable match between Fitzroy and Waitara took'place yesterday on the Waitara green wlien the visitors won by four point*. At two of the rinks the scores were equal, but Abbott's lend of twelve over 'Ford was responsible for the victory. An excellent afternoon ten was provided, and greatly appreciated. Taking advantage of the absence of bowlers on the Fifzroy rink yesterduv afternoon, a c|uare(te of ladies forsook the croquet lawn in order to try their hands at bonis, and with some preliminary instruction very soon made a most creditable display. The game is one that might well become fashionable with the fair sex.
