There was a good selection of New Zealand aliptse, otherwise it was a miscellaneous lot. There was a good attendance and strong competition from Yorkshire and- the United States. Combing merinos advanced 10 per cent, above November closing prices, faulty five per cent., greasy and scoured crossbreds 7% per cent.; alipes were at par to a naifpenny rise. Share quotations.—Dalgety's 108s dd and £76 ss. Copper.—Spot £77 5s to £77 7s 6d; three months £77 las to £77 17s 6d. Tin.—Spot £165 10s to £166; three months £165 to £165 10s. Lead, £25 10s to £-27. Spelter, £BS to £74. Silver, 26 5-lCd. Imports increased £16,129,030, exports £11,037,547, and re-exports £2,869,726.
