WOUNDED SOLDIERS' CONCERT.

At the Theatre Koyal this afternoon a very interesting entertainment will be given by the pupils of the New Plymouth Convent School. Everyone knows that the tuition received at this school is of a high order of merit, so that it is hardly necessary to refer in detail to the excellent programme to be submitted. The idea of holding the entertainment in the afternoon will be appreciated by mothers of families, as it does away with taking the youngsters out at night. The object of the concert is a worthy one, and our Wounded Soldiers' Fund will doubtless be well augmented by the proceeds. During the afternoon a' number of guessing competitions will be drawn under the supervision of his Worship the Mayor.
