PANAMA EXHIBITION.
N.Z. SHEEP SUCCESSES. By Telegraph.—.Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. The Department of Agriculture lias received particulars of successes sained by New Zealand sheep gent from the Dominion in September to.compete at the live stock competitions held in connection with the Panama Exhibition. The'following is the statement or prizes secured: C. 11. Ensor, White Rod;, Rangiora, three Corriedale rams and two Corriedale ewes, two champions and one reserve champion, three lirsts, one second, one third; Wm. Perry, Penrose, Masterton, four Romney rams, one reserve champion, two firsts, one second, one fourth; A. Matthews, Waorongomai, Featherston, four Romney rams, one champion, one first, one fifth; D, Q, Wright, Windermere, Winslow, four Romney rams, one second, two thirds, and one sixth; G. E. Allan, Masterton, four Romney rams, one second and one fourth; Wm. Perry, Penrose, Masterton, four Lincoln rams, two fourths. The New Zealand Commissioner reports that the sheep attracted great attention at the competitions.
