THE DARDANELLES.
• f RENEWED ACTIVITY. > t" t BY BRITISH FORCES. Amsterdam, Dec. 6. A, Turkish communique admits the 'Allies' naval activities at the Dardanelles, and vigorous ajttaeks toy the British against the centre and left. THE ORIGINAL LANDING.
MORE CRITICISM PROM THE TIMES. Times and Sydney Sun Services. London, Dec. 6. The Times' "War History," in the JDardanelles number, emphasises the fact that Anzac has been continually and terribly pertuitoed, the Turks frequently attacking with forces which had the ">etter chance of success against the British at ICrithia. Had General Hamilton flung the dashing Australian corps against the Turks in the south, instead .of the exhausted 29th Division, he might have helped those at Krithia on April 29,. and then seen Achi Baba crowded with his troops at suntfse. On the balance of probabilities it would have been better to have left Anzac severely alone. The paper estimates the losses of the whole landing at 10,000.
