HALF-YEARLY MEETING, 13y Telegraph.=Pi-eS3 Association. ■ Wellington, Yesterday. Air. Beauchamp presided at the halfyearly meeting of the Bank of New Zealand to-day and reviewed the financial situation in its relation to the war. A resolution amending the bank's deed of settlement was confirmed, and a proposal to give £IO,OOO to the Wounded Soldiers' Fund was approved.
