The Rarawa brought 179 tons of general cargo from Onehunga yesterday, including 94 tons of manure, 11 tons of sugar, and 5 tons of lime. COAL BOATS, The Storm arrived at 11 o'clock yesterday morning with ,187 tons of coal, from Westport. She sailed last night for Tarakohe.
The Ngakuta arrived from Greymouth about 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon with 505 tons of coal. She sails for the South to-day. THE CORINNA. The Corinna has abandoned her trip here, owing to hef not completing the discharge of her produce into the Home boat. She will leave Dunedin on Tuesday for New Plymouth, via way ports, but omitting .Lyttelton, and is due here at the end of the week. THE KARU. The Karu leaves Wellington on Monday for New Plymouth, arriving here on Tuesday. She returns to Wellington on the same day. She takes cargo for Wellington and the South at direct rates. A steamer will load at Bluff about December 14 for New Plymouth. THE KAHIKA.
The Kaliika (late Ennerdalo) leaves Lyttelton on Tuesday for New Plymouth direct.
NOTES. According to a Press Association ne?sage the New Zealand Shipping Company's Rimutaka arrived at Plymouth from Wellington on Tuesday. She left Wellington on. October 14, via. Monte Video and Teneriffe. Under charter to the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Shaw-Savill steamer Waiwera is reported to have left Montreal.on November 24 for Australian ports, Auckland, and Wellington, The northern port should be made about February 2. Cable advice has been reeived stating that the Shaw-Savill liner Kumara, which sailed from Auckland on October 16, arived at her destination on November 30—due date. The vessel is scheduled to leave Canada, under the auspices of the New Zealand Shipping Company on January 25 and is duo. in these waters about the end of March.
Still another old Australian trader, and a vesel of some renown, has disappeared from the Shipping Register. The vessel is the ship Seileren, which in the olden days was known as the Loch Carron, and was a unit of the famous Loch fleet. When she began what was to be her voyage—the Clyde to Savannah—and for some years before as a matter of fact, she sailed under the Norwegian Ensign. The grand old craft met her end as a result of a collision, after which she was sunk near Toorr Head on November 11, but beyond the fact that she has gone, no particulars have yet been received.
The Government training ship Amokura arrived at Westport yesterday from Bluff and West Coast Sounds. After bunkering, she will leave for Wellington. where she is expected to arrive about Sunday or Monday next. Oil her arrival the boys undergoing (raining will be given their three weeks 1 leave for the Christmas holidays, and the Aniokiira will remain in Wellington until January, when she will leave on a cruise to the ICermadec Islands in search of possible castaways. Although no official advice has been received by the head office of the Shaw, SaviH, and Albion Company a Press Association message advises that RM.S. Tainui has left London for Auckland, via. Wellington. She was scheduled to sail on November 25, and is due at Wellington about January 11,
