LOSSES OF BRITISH SHIPS. BY SUBMARINES AND MINES. London, Dec. 2. Lloyds reports the sinking of the steamers Colenso and Orange Prince, aggregating 5000 tons. The Colenso's crew have arrived at Malta. The Board of Trade estimates that German warships in November sank twenty steamers of 43,500 tons. There were 315 lives lost on the Ramazan anil 167 on the Marquette. Eleven 9teamers, aggregating 5.300 tons, had been sunk by mines. SUBMARINE SUNK. IN STRAITS OF GIBRALTAR. Washington, Dee. 2. Captain Glesser, of thf> British steamer Fnverkip, which hns arrived at Newport News, Virginia, reports that he accidentally sunk a submerged submarine in the Straits of Gibraltar when outward bound.
