FROM THE DARDANELLES. PRINCH AND TURKISH STATEMENTS. Received Dec. 3, 10 p.m. Paris, Dec. 3. A communique states that the artillery is active at the Dardanelles on both sides. \Ve greatly damaged the Turkish works. The weather has been severe, but is now milder. Amsterdam, Dec. 3. A Turkish communique says: We captured a portion of the enemy's entanglements and trenches near Anafarta. An enemy cruiser opened fire on our left wing,«but retreated before our tor••edoers.
THE FIGHTING IN THE TYROL. AUSTRIANS RETREAT. Received Dec. 3, 10 p.m. Amsterdam, Dec. 3. An Austrian communique states: — Italian artillery destroyed several villages behind our front in the Tolmino liasin. The enemy repeatedly attacked tfre Gorizia bridgehead, but were unsuccessful, and we marched into Plevlji after a stubborn battle. FROM WESTERN HEADQUARTERS. TWO BRITISH AEROPLANES MISSING. Received Dec. 3, 8.5 p.m. London, Dec. 2. A despatch from headquarters in Prance states that during four days our forces successfully bombarded the German trenches, doing considerable damage. Tflie enemy's reply was weak. Our airmen brought down two aeroplane!, and aviators bombed the German supply depot at Mirannott, damaging the stores, buildings and railway. Two of our aeroplanes that were on reconnaisance work have not returned. A GERMAN CLAIM. FOUR THOUSAND SERBIANS " CAPTURED. Received Dec. 3, 8.5 p.m. Amsterdam, Dec. ■>. A German,communique claims that the Germans captured four thousand Serbians south-west of Mitrovitza.
RUSSIAN REPORT. ENEMY REPULSED AT THE BTYR. Received iDec. 3, 8.40 p.m. Petrograd, Dec. 3. A communique says: We drove back the enemy towards the south-west of Khriask on the left bank of'the Styr.
