The tremendous strides photography has made since the first Kodak was introduced has culminated in the introduction of the. Autographic Kodak. This autographic feature is attached to the Kodak only and the final payment made by the Kodak Company to the inventor was £OO,OO0 —the biggest cash sum ever paid for any invention in the world's history. The Kodak Company have introduced practically every important improvement to date in photographic cameras, and were awarded the only gold medal for photographic cameras that was awarded at the San Francisco Exposition. Further, the Company has made photography synonomous with simplicity by making the Kodak daylight loading and introducing the daylight system of photography, by which a school child can make perfect pictures witliout the aid of a dark room. Kodaks are imitated closely, and purchasers should see that they do not .get substitutes foisted upon them.*
