TAEANAKI WOOL, SKIN, HEWS AND TALLOW ©ALES. MR. mwrm king's report. On Tuesday, the 23rd November, T held my monthly sale of above produce to a full attendance of buyers. Tbe catalogue comprised: 44 bales and 65 sauks wool, 2300 sheepskins, 15 casks and 37 tins of tallow, HM hides, 44)40 calfskins, and the usual sundries. Tbe wool catalogue was below the quantity offering at the opening sale last year, the wet season having delayed shearing operations. Growers, however, seem anxious to market their wool early and so avoid the seed. Compared with last year all classes of fleece advanced 4d to 4>/»d lb.

Sneepskins again advanced %d per lb, and were eagerly competed for at the higher rate. Over 90 skins were sold at prices ranging from lid to ll%d per lb. Cow and ox hides were firm with a %d per lb advance. Calf generally late rates, with an occasional advance.
