Poincare attended an impressive demonstration at the Trocadero in honor of Nurse Ca veil's memory. The auditorium was packed, and many addresses were delivered, glorifying the English martyr. M. Painlcve (Minister for Inventions) in bis speech said: "0, little English nurse, you have not been vanquished. You are victorious for all eternity. The people of France Baid that you are tha annunriatriee of better humanity and right triumphant." ~>
