CONDUCT OF THE WAR.
TO TIGHTEN UP. AN INTERNATIONAL GENERAL STAFF. Received Nov. 29, 5.5 p.m. London, Nov. 28. The Daily Chronicle's Paris correspondent states that the Entente Powers are 'beginning to realise the need of an International (Jrand General Stafl'. The organisation of the Entente is steadily tightening up, but it is felt that something more is required. There have been irregular meetings to deal with pressing matters, and it is 'believed that further conferences have been arranged, while n scheme for permanent consultation is being considered. The Councils will probably be hold in Paris. It is considered that three representatives from each of the four Powers will be sufficient. The Foreign Offices of England and France have, never been more intimate. The munitions departments are on a perfect understanding, and the military stall's are working in perfect unison.
