RUSSIA'S TASK.
REPORTED GERMAN OFFENSIVE. London, Nov. 2fi. The Austro-Germans have initiated a vigorous offensive on the Styr along the Kieff railway, with the object of inducing the Russians to detach troops from Bessarabia. German telegrams via Di'land show that the reports of the a/;emhling of Russian armies on the Danube continue to agitate the authorities in Berlin. Hints have been thrown out that terrible things are in store for Roumania if she allows the Russians a passage, as the Austrians will enter the Roumanian frontier. The Czar inspected General Visolsky's army of 250,000 men on the Danube' EXPLOSIVE BULLETS. Times and Sydney Sun Services. London, Nov. 2fi. A correspondent with General Russky's army at Dvinsk says that there is evidence that the Germans have abundance of explosive 'bullets, which cause the most ghastly wounds. Further big German operations are pending on the Styr. GREAT FLEET AT RENT. London, Nov. 20. The Morgenpost (a Danish paper) states that 200 Russian ships are collected at Reni expecting early sailing orders.
