A BIG FIRE.

HOAXGA TOWNSHIP DESTROYED. Dargaville, Nov. 26. The Hoanga mill, owned by Mr. Woolsey Allen, was totally destroyed by fire at six o'clock this morning. The fire was still raging at 1.30 p.m., and the post office, Mitchell's store, a number of dwellings and a big yard of timber were all destroyed. The township is practically demolished. The Dargaville Fire Brigade was sent by steamer to assist in fighting the conflagration. Insurances are not ascertainable.
