IN THE TYROL A FIERCE STRUGGLE Received Nov. 25, 8.5 p.m. Vienna, Nov. 24. A communique says: The bridge-head at Gorizia was again subjected to heavy artillery fire. The fighting on both sides at Monte San Michele was most severe. Strong enemy forces penetrated our positions north of the mountain on Tuesday, but were repulsed after severe hand-to-hand fighting. An attack at San Marteno was repulsed with very heavy Italian losses. Rome, Nov. 24. The Austrians have evacuated Mori and Roveredo. ON CARSO PLATEAU. ITALIAN SUCCESSES. Received Nov. 25, 9.50 p.m. Rome, Nov. 25. A communique states: Our continuous offensive on the Carso was brifflantly crowned by assaulting and capturing a deep line of trenches on the fourth summit of Monte San Michele, and also the church at San. Martino. We took many prisoners. NEARING GORIZIA.
CALVARIO OCCUPIED. Received Nov. 25, 5.5 p.m. Rome, Nov. 24. We have occupied Calvario, on the crest west of Gorizia.
